Creative young worshippers gather in Norwich

Gathering February PosterThe Chorus Congregational, an exciting, creative, worship collective for young people in Norfolk, is planning its second gathering on Saturday February 16 following a successful launch where four new songs were written.

The second gathering of The Chorus Congregational is to be held on Saturday February 16, 11:00am - 4pm at Sprowston Methodist Church.   These gatherings are a chance for young people to learn more about worship, music and a great opportunity to join with other young people from around Norfolk

Dan Lawrence said: “This is our second gathering as a collective of young worshippers.  Our first gathering, in October, was well attended and four songs were written by the end of the day and we shared in some great teaching as well!”

The day will include interactive worship, small worship seminars, a keynote talk from Danny Doran-Smith, Director of ENYP called '2gether: how can we worship together and apart?' and space to get creative.

You can sample a flavour of the day by watching a short video from the last gathering on Youtube.

The event is completely free to attend.  You don't need to play an instrument or even know anything about music to come.  Just bring along a packed lunch, a Bible, an instrument (if you have one) and a pen.

Youth leaders with a group of young people are welcome but are requested to get in contact beforehand.  You can email congregational@thechorus.org.uk to request posters, leaflets and more information about the day.

For more information email congregational@thechorus.org.uk or visit the website www.thechorus.org.uk or the Facebook event page.
