Colin shares global faith adventure in Norwich
2013: Colin Rogers was 19 when he met a Christian in ‘a chance encounter’ on the streets of Norwich, but he little realised it would lead to a remarkable faith adventure that took him to the US, Australia, Asia and the Pacific.
That street encounter triggered Colin’s own journey to faith which he went on to share with village people in the Philippines
, the Soloman Islands
as well as with Aborigines in Australia.
Colin, a skilled stonemason, has combined his secular work with mission outreach - and he still has a global vision.
“I haven’t finished yet – I have no intention of retiring,” declares Colin, who shared highlights of his fascinating life at a Norwich FGB evening dinner on Friday, February 8 at the Brook Hotel, Bowthorpe.
This dinner is one of a series of monthly events organised by the Norwich Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGB), which is endorsed in the UK by the Archbishop of York who says, “We need more men like them.”
The global fellowship has more than 8,000 local chapters spread across 130 countries.
