Norwich Youth for Christ’s 500 Fivers fundraiser

NyfcPeteTrains350Pete Tyson, a youth worker for Norwich Youth For Christ is going the extra mile to fundraise, quite literally! His challenge – the Norwich Olympic Triathlon – aims to increase donations to NYFC’s 500 Fivers fundraising campaign.

On 7th July  Pete Tyson will be participating in the Norwich Oylmpic Triathlon, at Whitlingham Broad.  The triathlon consists of a 1,500m open water swim, 38km cycle and 11km run.

Instead of looking for one off donations, Pete is asking for people to support Norwich Youth for Christ (NYFC)’s ‘500 Fivers’ campaign, based on the premise that NYFC needs 500 regular donations of £5 a month.  This income would enable NYFC to employ a full-time schools worker.  Pete has set a target of raising 100 fivers towards this total.  If you would prefer to donate a one-off amount then you are welcome to do so.

Pete said, “500 Fivers is approaching the 150 mark, so we have a way to go but are so grateful to all of those who have supported this campaign so far.  Please do consider supporting us in this way if you do not already and please share this campaign with others you know.”
