Ethical business centre offers offices south of Norwich
Are you running a business or social enterprise with strong ethical values and would like to share offices south of Norwich with a community of like-minded entrepreneurs?
Turnpike Business Centre occupies a 17th century farmhouse close to the A11, eight minutes’ drive from the Thickthorn roundabout and near Wymondham, and has three serviced offices to let.
“We have three young businesses here at the moment,” said centre owner Robert Ashton. “All are strongly ethical with one a social enterprise. I’m keen to build a community of like-minded entrepreneurs here who can help each other as they grow,” he added.
The farmhouse was built in 1620 next to what was the second turnpike road in Britain. There’s a tablet close-by commemorating the gift that funded the road improvements in 1675. ‘The building has long been connected with philanthropy and social action,’ Robert explained, ‘so itis good to continue that tradition today.’
Each room is ideal for two people, and the rent includes heat, light, cleaning, and use of a shared photocopier. There is plenty of parking.
Broadband download speed is around 80 mpbs.
Robert Ashton lives in a converted barn behind the centre and is an experienced social entrepreneur, publisher and author. He is also a member of the Norwich Quaker Meeting.
