Pete’s Cornerstone Kiosk is a hit with Norfolk community
Poringland resident Peter Callum, who attends Cornerstone church in Norwich has launched a new business selling Homemade Norfolk Beefburgers with Norfolk cheese in his aptly named ‘Cornerstone Kiosk’.
Having been working in the catering industry for the last 40 years, Peter felt it was time to branch out with his new business venture.
There is tough competition in the catering business but Peter’s high quality food coupled with friendly service has proved a hit with his customers.
He said, “I aim to be more than just a burger van. I believe what sets me apart is my community-orientated approach and commitment to providing the tastiest food at the most reasonable prices and with the highest levels of customer service.”
Peter is a committed Christian and a member of Cornerstone church in Poringland. He divides his time between his business at the kiosk, catering at events and Christian outreach work.
His menus offer standard fayre such as bacon baps and lunchtime burgers as well as varying daily specials. Peter said "I keep it simple and really nice." His burgers are all handmade 100% Norfolk burgers with Bingham Blue and Norfolk dapple cheese.
Peter trades at Old Hall Farm, Woodton and at Brooke layby on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For up-to-date information about where Pete is trading, follow his Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cornerstonekiosk
