Social Futurist Mal Fletcher to speak at Norwich church

This weekend, the Christian social futurist, media commentator and think-tank founder Mal Fletcher will be speaking about leadership in Norwich as a guest of local church Proclaimers.

On Saturday, September 23, 5pm-6pm Mal Fletcher, the Christian founder and chairman of the London-based think tank on social change and leadership innovation 2020Plus, will address a free event called ‘Leadership in the Marketplace’ at Proclaimers Church in Norwich.

Gemma Neill, Associate Pastor at Proclaimers said: “As Christians we are called to have an influence in whatever our spheres of industry – be it the arts, business, entertainment, education, family, government or media, and Mal is passionate about equipping Christians to maximise this influence.”

Mal Fletcher is a sought after speaker on an international scale due to the unique insights from his think tank organisation, 2020Plus, which he founded in 2008.  He is also much in demand in the business world as a leadership consultant.  Mal is also the founder of the Strategic Leadership Consultation, an annual summit for European community and church leaders from 20 nations attracting high profile Christian speakers and campaigners such as Dr Patrick Dixon, Dr Tom Sine, Alister McGrath and Steve Chalke MBE

As an inspiring, engaging and content rich speaker Mal features extensively in major media and press outlets, including BBC TV and radio and Sky News offering comment on major social shifts and trends.

Recently he has been featured on BBC radio discussing whether Princess Diana’s death changed our society, the impact on medical and family ethics of the life and death of baby Charlie Gard, and on BBC Breakfast discussing whether newspapers are being superseded by the web.

Registration is essential for the ‘Leadership in the Marketplace’ event.  Please email Gemma at to confirm your place.

Mal will also be sharing at Proclaimer's Sunday services at 10.30am and again at 5pm.
