Norwich YFC premiere festive film at Christmas event

Norwich YFC's The Big Christmas Jam on December 20 will showcase the musical and dramatic talents of young people working with the Christian youth charity, and will be an opportunity to view their new Christmas film before anyone else.

On Wednesday, December 20 at 7pm Norwich Youth for Christ (Norwich YFC) are hosting The Big Christmas Jam. The event at Wroxham Road Methodist Church is open to anyone and will showcase the talents of some of the young people the charity works with.

The event will also include the premiere of their new short film, 'Na Na Nativity'

Nick Blanch, Director of Norwich YFC said: “We’ve been working with 11 young people to create a Christmas film. A parody of hit film ‘La La Land’, titled ‘Na Na Nativity’.

“Our youth band will be doing a few carols and young musicians performing their own songs, plus you’ll get to hear how the young people have felt about the film and get to see it on a big screen before it goes live on YouTube! Please come along and encourage them!”

The Christian youth charity are hoping the film will have a big impact. Last year their Christmas film, ‘Hunted Christmas’ was viewed online 2500 times.

Entry to The Big Christmas Jam is free and you can book your place on Facebook. Refreshments will be served.
