East Carleton gardeners give St Mary's Church a boost

Gardeners in the South Norfolk village of East Carleton are opening up their grounds to the public on Sunday, July 1 to raise money for St Mary's Church and East Anglian Air Ambulance. 

15 gardens across East Carleton, including Lower East Carleton, will be open for public viewing on Sunday, July 1, 10am-4pm to raise money for the Fabric Fund of St Mary's Church and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Tea, cakes and cream teas will be available in St Mary's Church along with music and singing. In other gardens cream teas and ice creams will be available.
Hilary Springett of St Mary's Church, said: "The gardens are very diverse and vary from cottage, utilitarian, tropical and water gardens. Come and explore the hidden delights of other peoples gardens.”
Tickets are available from St Mary's Church and cost £5.00. There is no charge for under 14s.
