Norfolk Christian choices charity funding award
 The future of Norfolk Christian charity Pregnancy Choices has been secured for the next three years thanks to a grant which will enable the charity’s vital caring and counselling work to continue.
The Henry Smith Charity awarded Pregnancy Choices Norfolk (PCN) a trust grant to cover the cost of the director’s salary for three years.
Anna Sweeting [pictured left with previous director Biddy Collyer] was appointed the new director in May this year. Anna said, “This is an amazing blessing financially but also recognises the great work PCN does. The charity has also received a number of smaller grants from trusts which have been a great help.”
The PCN team say they are excited about the journey God is taking them on over the past few months – and have launched The 80 More campaign to appeal for more supporters.
 Anna explains, “We already have 80 amazing supporters who have given regular monthly financial donations and have brought Pregnancy Choices to where it is now. Imagine what more could be done with 80 more? So far we have 20 of the 80 we are hoping will help support this great work.”
Pregnancy Choices Norfolk is also looking for a trustee with responsibility for finance.
Other recent highlights for the charity include the ‘Doorway of Hope’ service at the church of St Mary the Virgin, Swardeston in October for men and women who have experienced some form of pregnancy or baby loss. The service was well attended and helped bring comfort and hope amidst the hurt many are feeling.
In November, PCN held a Big Cake Bake where a number of volunteers and supporters held cake sales in their churches or homes, raising a total of £617.
