Snow postpones some Norfolk Day of Prayer services

A number of Norfolk's Women's World Day of Prayer events due to take place last week in unity with millions of Christians around the world have been postponed until Friday March 9.

On Friday, March 2 churches across Norfolk came together to join with an estimated 3 million Christians around the world to pray on the Women's World Day of Prayer 2018.

The Women’s World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women who welcome all to join in prayer and action for peace and justice on every first Friday of March. It is estimated that 5000 services will be held across the world in 95 languages creating a continuous chain of prayer around the clock.

This year the service has been written by the Christian women of Suriname. A warm invitation is offered to all - men and women.
