Showbiz star couple speak at Norwich dinner

Back by popular request, broadcaster, actor and singer Paul Jones (of Manfred Mann fame), and his actress wife, Fiona Hedley, shared their unusual story, with music, at the Norwich FGB dinner at the Mercure Hotel on September 18.

Paul Jones was the award-winning lead singer of the Manfred Mann pop group. He has also presented The Blues Show on BBC Radio 2 each week for over 30 years.

In his early years, Paul was “a dedicated atheist”. Today, however, he and Fiona, a former West End and TV actress, are committed Christians who share their story with humour and compassion.

They first met at in a successful show at the National Theatre. "Our roles meant singing songs to each other and staring into each other's eyes, proclaiming undying love and all that sort of stuff, twice nightly for two years or so. And the inevitable happened."
