Revival prayer partner call to Norfolk churches

AtomChurches and ministries across Norwich and Norfolk are again joining together on March 7 under the banner of Prayer for Revival.

The first meeting were held on Monday January 24, at Ramada Hotel in Norwich and simultaneously at Park Baptist Church in Great Yarmouth.

One of the organizers, City Church Norwich minister, Philip Thorne, said: Both prayer gatherings were electric with the presence of God in both worship and prayer with many people testifying to how good it was for numerous churches to meet together and pray in unison across the region. Many were excited about continuing to meet to pray. Unity and honouring one another in partnership has been growing in momentum and the call to meet to pray together was overwhelming.”

Phil has a vision to see Prayer for Revival meetings connected in purpose and relationship meeting simultaneously in south, west and north Norfolk and beyond. He said: “I would be delighted to meet with church leaders south, west and north Norfolk who have a passion for revival and who would like to connect with Norwich and east Norfolk to see the whole county praying in unison simultaneously for our region, all under the strap line, ‘Partnership without Ownership.’

“Surely, these are days when we together can push through the invisible ceiling that has over the decades stopped us going to a new level in God across the city and region. A deeper desire is emerging to see God move city and region-wide, reviving the church and causing us to be influential together for the sake of those that don’t yet know Christ. Our desire is that every church across the city and region would be powerfully touched by God, seeing healings and miracles and daily salvations, and experiencing the Kingdom of God coming and being influential in and through the lives of God’s people.”

The event on Monday March 7 takes place at the Ramada Hotel 121-131 Boundary Road, Norwich, NR3 2BA, from 7.30pm. For further information please contact City Church office (01603) 632901, admin@citychurch.co.uk.

Churches and ministries partnering together include: NORWICH: City Church, Eternity Norwich (AOG), Witard Road Baptist, Call to Prayer, Wroxham Road Methodist, and Transforming Norwich. EAST NORFOLK – There are a number of churches keen to be involved along with City Church Great Yarmouth.
