UEA Catholics join for Mass and fellowship.

Catholic students at the University of East Anglia recently gathered for Mass and entertainment.

catholichoycanavaneburne450cfIt has been the tradition since the University of East Anglia opened in the early 1960s  for members of Norwich Circle of the Catenian Association to attend on the third Sunday of October the 6pm mass held in the University Chapel and afterwards to entertain the students with food and drink.

The most recent of these events took place Sunday October 19

During the refreshments speeches were delivered by Philip Hoy, President of Norwich Circle and Reverend Andrew Eburne, UEA Deacon plus Blanaid Canavan, President of the UEA Catholic Society.
