Free online resources for Norfolk churches

A new low-cost online resource for outreach and discipleship has just been made available based around the theme “connection brings life” and is now being offered to churches across Norfolk.

In 2008, Connect4Life was established to provide low cost resources for outreach and discipleship. The materials show that humans need connection with Christ to fulfil personal identity, value and purpose.  Now viewed in 125 countries, Connect4Life has adapted all the resources for free electronic use via C4L Online launched last month.

Director Olaf Fogwill said, “We want to inspire churches for mission and provide simple free resources for Christians to use that truly connect with people in this modern technological age,”
C4LonlineVideo courses are available as well as extensive outreach and discipleship materials. Thousands of people have viewed these and C4L online now has nearly 7,000 users. There are also two apps - one with short discipleship studies, and another which helps people intheir spiritual journey of connection to God.
Stephen Gaukroger, former pastor of Gold Hill Baptist Church and president of the Baptist Union has used the resources. He said, “C4L really is excellent material giving a refreshing new way forward for relevant outreach to supplement Alpha and Christianity Explored. I love the clarity of the visuals, the layout of the questions and the user-friendly accessible style. I am pleased to commend it to churches, leaders and all who want to help people connect or reconnect with God.”

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
