Norwich YFC need cast and crew for Christmas show

Norwich Youth For Christ are looking for young people to fulfill a range of cast and crew roles for their lively Merry Christmas performance taking place in December.

Building on last year’s success, rehearsals are starting next week for the Norwich Youth For Christ (NYFC) Christmas performance. The rehearsals and performances are open to all young people aged 10-18 who want to be involved as actors, dancers, singers, musicians, stage crew, tech crew, props and scenery makers.

Nick Blanch, Director of NYFC said: “We’re partnering with a few churches, but it is open to everyone. I love seeing the gospel presented in creative ways and young people are brilliant at bringing life to these ideas.”

The production, based on a story about Santa’s workshop coming under new management, will be lively and fun while still exploring the nativity.

Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, October 5 at Norwich Central Baptist Church from 5pm-7pm and will continue on Wednesdays each week.  Performances will take place between Friday, December 9 and Sunday, December 11 (Venue TBC)

Any young people who are interested should please contact Sarah at NYFC by email at sballard@norwichyfc.co.uk, call the NYFC Office on 01603 620678 or message our Facebook page on www.facebook.com/norwichyfc.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
