Double chance for Norfolk Christian public show

Two sister Christian public events in Norfolk have announced details of how churches, ministries and organisations can get involved to promote what they do to the general public in Norwich city centre and at the Royal Norfolk Show.

Celebrate Norfolk at the Forum in Norwich and the Diocese of Norwich in partnership with Celebrate at the Royal Norfolk Show, are giving Christian groups the opportunity to exhibit what they do in June 2017.

The flagship Celebrate Norwich and Norfolk event at the Forum, Millennium Plain, St Stephen’s and St Peter Mancroft church in Norwich city centre will take place on Saturday June 10 with a smaller event on Sunday June 11.

Project director, John Betts, said: “We aim to provide a valuable opportunity to increase the profile and raise awareness of the important work Christian organisations and churches are doing across Norfolk.  Celebrate is a unique combination of social action organisations, evangelism, resources, the arts and local churches, together in the public arena.”

Exhibitors can book display space in the Forum or on Millennium Plain from less than £100. For more details click here or contact administrator Jenny Drake at celebrate@networknorwich.co.uk or on 01603 617905.

Celebrate Norfolk are also partnering with the Diocese of Norwich in their large presence at the Royal Norfolk Show on June 28 to 29.

In 2016 the Diocese of Norwich doubled the size of its marquee and offered other Christian organisations the opportunity to exhibit with them under the banner of Celebrate Norfolk. Following the success of this initiative the Diocese are once again inviting others to join.

Organiser Angela George said: “A presence in the Diocese of Norwich marquee provides a great opportunity to showcase your organisation and its work, and we look forward to welcoming back groups who joined us in 2016 as well as new exhibitors for 2017.

“We want to create a vibrant, interactive and welcoming space once again where visitors to the show will get a sense of the church in action. Plots of various sizes are available and we will be allocating on a first come first served basis.”
