Friends of Israel host event in Norwich

East Anglia Friends of Israel are pleased to invite you to an evening meeting on November 20 at The House of Prayer with Luke Akehurst as the speaker.

Call to Prayer will welcome Luke Akehurst, director of We Believe in Israel, as the main speaker for their event on November 20.
Jill Gower, chair of East Anglia Friends of Israel said, "Luke is an excellent and extremely well informed speaker, and we are blessed to have him coming up to spend the evening with us."

About Luke Akehurst

Luke Akehurst has been Director of We Believe in Israel since its foundation in 2011.  He is not Jewish but has been a committed Zionist all his life.

His work career before We Believe in Israel included being a director at global PR company Weber Shandwick, where he was named as Public Affairs News UK Consultant of the Year 2008.

He has also worked for Hackney and Lewisham Councils, the Labour Party and the BBC Political Research Unit and was National Secretary of Labour Students 1995-1996. Luke is married with two sons. He graduated with a BSc in Politics from Bristol University.
