Taverham Evangelical Church are seeking a person with the call of God on their life to pastor, grow and lead the church.   
 


We believe passionately in building God’s church locally in Taverham and Thorpe Marriott.  We are a family, community church that loves God, loves to worship and is committed to reaching our community with the good news of Jesus.

We are seeking a person with the call of God on their life to pastor, grow and lead the church.  We’re a small church of around 50-60 congregation members and amongst other ministries run a thriving parent and toddler ministry on Fridays.  We are part of Assemblies of God, but applications are open to all as long as there is a willingness by the candidate to become an accredited AoG minister over time. We would consider appointing on either a part-time or full-time basis.

As Lead Pastor you will be supported by the Church Council and experienced AoG ministers in the congregation.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • is gifted in preaching and teaching the whole Word of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit;
  • has a strong desire to make Christ known in our communities, especially reaching out to families;
  • is committed to investing in people, encouraging and equipping individuals in their discipleship and to develop their gifts; and
  • is a Christ-centred leader who is inspirational and empowering.Hours: part-time or full-time
Salary: to be agreed
Pension: 6% employer’s contribution + 3% (minimum) employee’s contribution
Support with re-locating is also offered.
