Guided retreats offered at Letton Hall in Norfolk
An ecumenical team including a Franciscan Friar, a URC Minister, a reader in training, two Anglican Priests and a team of people from Letton Hall are set to provide a series of Guided Retreats at the Mid Norfolk Christian conference centre.
One of the team, Rev Deborah Hamilton-Grey, said: “What we all have in common is a love for God’s people which demands that we create a space for encounter and transformation. During 2020 we are providing this collaborative opportunity throughout the year in the form of guided retreats.
“During each retreat we will look at the scriptures together and reflect on what this means for us as followers of Christ within a rhythm of prayer, holy listening, good food and fellowship. Spiritual nourishment for the soul.
“Folks are invited to join us to journey to the cross with Jesus in preparation for Easter on April 1 to 3. Come just as you are, as a group, as a couple or as an individual. We look forward to welcoming you to Letton Hall.”
Green Pastures Christian bookshop in Dereham are supplying books for each retreat.
Other retreats include Living as Easter People: The Resurrected Christ from April 22 to 24 and Living an abundant Life: The Ascended Christ, from May 20-22.
The Midweek retreats begin on Wednesdays, arrival at 9.45am for coffee/tea/cake, and finish at 10am on Friday.
Total costs for full board and the led programme is £160.
The retreats venue is Letton Hall, Shipdham, Norfolk.
