Mobile-friendly new look for Network Norfolk

The Network Norwich and Norfolk website has launched a modern refreshed design and responsive web system to give users a better display and experience on mobiles as well as laptops and tablets.

The well-established Christian community website, which is coming up to its fifteenth anniversary later this year, has switched to the mobile-friendly responsive web system from Cambridge-based Christian company Church Insight/Endis, which designs and hosts websites for hundreds of churches and Christian groups across the world.

The new site has all the same content, including thousands of news stories from across the last 15 years, but the new-look design displays pages equally as well on mobiles as on laptops and tablet devices.

Publisher Keith Morris said: “An increasing number of our users view our site on mobiles and we wanted them to have just as good an experience of our content as those on laptops and tablets already do. It has also given us the chance to refresh the websites of our partner organisations such as Transforming Norwich, Norwich Foodbank, Celebrate Norfolk, the Norfolk Christian Football League and Norwich FGB.

“It also means we can more easily launch websites for specific projects such as faithhopelovenorfolk, Norfolk Feeds 5000 and our Life Stories project,” said Keith.

“With the coronavirus lockdown restrictions still largely in force, this is such an important time for all the different parts of the Norfolk Christian community to keep communications open, and we want to continue to help them do that and reach more people with news and information about their vital work. So please keep sending us your news and stories,” said Keith.

We would love to have your feedback on the new site, so please send any comments or suggestions to editor Keith Morris at keith.morris@networknorwich.co.uk
