Norfolk Healing Rooms reaches round the globe
The team from Norfolk Healing Rooms got to pray for people from eleven countries at a historic online healing conference which overcame Covid-19 restrictions. Ruth Scorey reports.
When COVID 19 stopped this year’s Presence Conference from going ahead in Portugal, nobody could have predicted that this would mean opening it up the for free to thousands more people across the world.
The conference, of the International Association of Healing Ministries (IAHM), took place through online media over four days from May 20 to 23. Seventy plus healing ministries across the world gathered on Facebook and YouTube to share, teach, worship and heal.
The impressive line-up included Randy Clark, Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker, Francis Chan, Claudio Freidzon, John and Carole Arnott, Charly Agyn Asare, Katherine Ruonala, Benny Hinn, Michael and Jessica Koulianos, Nathan Morris, Mel Tari, Ben Fitzgerald and many others.
IAHM Director and Swiss healing evangelist, John Luc Trachsel, said that it was an “historical healing gathering with the largest coalition of healing ministries moving in power today around the world. During this event people from 114 nations connected and experienced God and the power of the Holy Spirit and more than 500,000 people watched Presence 2020 online”. (You can still watch the conference videos on YouTube; just search IAHM Presence 2020.)
Healing Rooms England and Wales National Directors, Veronica and David Mee had asked: “Can anything good come out of COVID 19?” and so were delighted to turn the tables on the pandemic by accepting the call to host online Zoom Healing Rooms on each of the four evenings of the IAHM conference.
“Ironically, being caught up in a global pandemic allowed us to reach way more people than if the conference had been able to go ahead as originally planned,” stated Veronica. The team at Norfolk Healing Rooms jumped on board, not quite knowing what to expect, but excited to be part of such an innovative venture.
In the end over 700 prayer partners from around the globe took part in the conference’s Healing Rooms (HRs), offering ten different languages. Jean Luc announced that “more than two thousand people received ministry. A lot of people got healed and baptised in the Holy Spirit” and healing testimonies are still coming in.
In the English-speaking HRs there were up to sixty team members ministering each night, serving more than 600 people overall. The Norfolk HR team prayed for people from America, Canada, Croatia, England, Germany, Latvia, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Singapore and Switzerland.
The work of Holy Spirit was palpable and there were obvious signs that something heavenly was happening on our screens. It was such a privilege to be invited straight into people’s kitchens and living rooms and to bless them right where they live. One German lady had such an immense sense of God’s peace that she smiled and cried all at the same time. She returned to Zoom Norfolk HR the following week and received healing for her long-term back pain. Many UK HRs continue to offer free Zoom ministry.
Norfolk Healing Rooms is comprised of a band of spirit-filled, compassionate Christians from a mix of church denominations and would love to bring free healing to those who need it via our Zoom HR. Ministry slots are available every Thursday evening between 8pm-9.30pm.
Zoom does not necessarily require access to the internet, as it is possible to phone in. For online appointments, participants will need to download the free Zoom App onto the device they intend to use for their ministry slot.
To request an appointment, either text or phone 07900 341 287 or email us at email@example.com and we’ll take it from there.
