YMCA opens new 90-place nursery in Norwich 

YMCA Norfolk has just opened a new 90-place Ofsted-registered nursery called Muddy Puddles near Norwich city centre. Harriet King from YMCA Norfolk describes what’s on offer.

Muddy Puddles is based at our brand-new multi-service community centre on Aylsham Road in Norwich, also featuring Williams’ Kitchen café and Explorers Soft Play centre.
 
We are part of YMCA Childcare - the UK’s leading voluntary sector provider of childcare.

What’s our nursery like?

Muddy Puddles is a 90-place nursery in the heart of Norwich, for children aged 3 months to 5 years. All five of our nursery rooms have a calming, homely feel with space for exploration and access to our large garden.
 
Bright and airy, the building is newly renovated to an extremely high standard. Our equipment is centred around each age group – offering sensory interaction depending on their stage within the early years’ framework. We’re also extremely proud to offer environmentally friendly equipment, with a plastic-free, screen-free approach.

Who are we?

The Muddy Puddles team prides themselves on not only their childcare experience and qualifications, but also genuine passion to develop confident and caring children.
 
We strive to offer a positive, happy and loving environment where all children feel secure and valued. We believe in promoting each child’s strengths and helping them to love themselves and others, in all their differences. We encourage our learners to be curious and adventurous in their play and learning so that they grow an appreciation of the world around them.

Where are we and when are we open?

Our nursery is based at YMCA Norfolk’s brand-new community hub – 61a Aylsham Road, Norwich – kitted out with all the newest play facilities. We’re open 7.30am – 6pm Monday to Friday, and offer a range of sessions including morning, afternoon and all day.

What’s the cost?
