Time Norfolk 750 CF
Pregnancy loss charity talk in Yarmouth

TimeNorfolk are holding an information sharing session in Great Yarmouth in order to spread the word about the support they provide and increase the numbers of referrals.

TimeNorfolk provides free counselling to anyone who has experienced pregnancy or baby loss. The Norfolk and Waveney charity also offers non-directive pregnancy choices support for individuals or couples who are facing a decision about whether or not to continue with a pregnancy.

The event will be held on Monday 24th July, 10.00 am at Great Yarmouth Minster, Church Plain. There will be refreshments available and a chance to hear a presentation about TimeNorfolk followed by a time for discussion. The event is aimed at those working or volunteering in the Great Yarmouth Borough who might know people who would benefit from the service.

TimeNorfolk have been working in Great Yarmouth borough since 2019 and in January 2022 opened a hub in the town. However they would like to increase their reach in the area in terms of both numbers and diversity.

Jessica Vaccaro, Inclusion Project Lead explained “Fiona Gosden, CEO of TimeNorfolk, will be raising awareness about the support TimeNorfolk offers in Great Yarmouth for anyone affected by pregnancy loss, baby loss, or those facing a choice about continuing with a pregnancy. She will also touch upon why this support is so important for those grieiving the loss of a pregnancy or baby. Our hope is that attendees come away with a better understanding of this kind of grief and can begin referring on to TimeNorfolk when needed.”

The event is being organised in partnership with Imagine Norfolk Together and those who plan to attend are asked to email anna.heydon@togethernorfolk.org.uk to book in.
