Norwich church book fair to raise school funds

A book fair which has run in Norwich for over 50 years is running again in late July to support two Christian schools in Malawi.

Organiser Jonathan Piesse said: “The Feed the Minds charity which ran a book fair for over 50 years has now closed but the local committee has decided to continue with a book fair on behalf of two schools in the south of Malawi.

Norwich Book Fair for Malawi will run in St Andrew's Church (next to Cinema City), St Andrew's Street, Norwich, NR2 4AD, on Thursday July 24 from 10.00 - 16.30, Friday July 25 10.00 - 16.30 and Saturday July 26 from 10.00 - 15.00. Admission is free.

“This year it will support Imbwa Primary School and Bethel Girls' Academy, which provide education with a Christian world-view and are situated to the west of Blantyre in southern Malawi.

“Funds raised will be channelled through The Kerusso Trust, a Christian mission agency which works in Malawi.  Charity registered in England & Wales (No. 1145560) and Scotland (No. SC044848).
