Ask the big questions at North Norfolk chapel

Swanton Abbott Community Chapel are holding an informal and accessible cafe church morning at the end of this month, and everyone is invited to come and bring your questions.

The leaders at the rural chapel south of North Walsham have decided to cancel their usual Sunday service and give an opportunity for people to find out more about the basics of faith, how faith works, what it is, and how faith is relevant today.

janeandkevin everard 750ATJane Everard, who leads the church with her husband Kevin, pictured right, said, “The morning is aimed at people who feel they want to know more about the Christian faith. They wonder what life is all about. Maybe they used to attend church but were put off by something or someone.    Or they might already have a faith, but have friends and family who often ask questions about it.

“Well, on Sunday 31 August, Everyone is welcome to join us for free refreshments (sausage rolls, quiche, cheese scones etc) as we hold an informal, interactive morning when you can bring your curiosity and your friends with you!”

The morning will start at 10.30am with free coffee/tea and savoury snacks, with the main event starting at 11am. There will be activities for children and there is disabled access. Free parking is available at the village hall, which is at the end of The Street in Swanton Abbott.  NR10 5DU

Jane concluded, “Our heart at the chapel in rural Swanton Abbott is to introduce others to Jesus - and this event is styled for those who might like to find out more. Email info@thesacc.co.uk if you'd like more details, or to make sure there is a seat for you!”
