Ugandan children’s choir returns to Norfolk on tour
The Watoto Children’s Choir will return to Norwich later this year with two dates on the 2026 UK tour.
The
Watoto Children’s Choir will be performing at
Soul Church on
Sunday April 26 and at
Proclaimers Church on
Sunday May 10.
Over the past 25 years, Watoto have sent more than 100 children’s choirs around the world. During that time, they have performed for Her Majesty The Queen, US Presidents, and visited governments and parliaments across the globe.
Andrew White, Executive Director at Watoto UK, said: “The choir is made up of children from Uganda, all of whom have overcome significant hardship. Through vibrant music, dance and personal stories, they share a message of hope, faith and resilience that resonates with audiences of all ages.
The proceeds made from the album will help Watoto continue to provide vulnerable children with an education, medical care, a safe place to call home, and most of all the love of a family.
