See The Passion performed at Sheringham church

A passion play performed by Lamps Collective will be coming to St Andrew’s Methodist Church in Sheringham in March, and there is no charge to attend.

The life, death and resurrection of Jesus are recreated in this moving, memorable and ultimately joyful retelling of the Easter story.  Told from the perspectives of Peter, Mary Magdalene and a Roman centurion named Marcus, this powerful contemporary drama leads us up to and through the events of Holy Week, to the cross and beyond.
 
‘‘The Passion” will be performed at 3pm on Saturday 28 March. Admission is free but donations will be very welcome to help defray the costs of this professional production. Refreshments will be served at the end of the afternoon.  Seating is ‘first come, first served’ and the play is suitable for ages 11 upwards.

“The Passion” will be performed by Lamps Collective, a group of professional writers, actors, and musicians whose Christian faith underpins their lives and work.  LAMPS is an acronym which stands for Love, Acting, Music, Poetry and Stories – all things close to their hearts.  The play is on tour nationally from 12 March to 4 April.
