Mid Norfolk youth charity Easter Bible gift appeal

North Breckland Youth For Christ is asking supporters to sponsor a Bible gift this Easter in response to the Quiet Revival.

The team regularly engage with 40 young people through the after school drop-in café “The Space” and are looking to gift them all a Bible this Easter.

North Breckland YFC Director, Matt Ingle said: “Firstly, please can you pray for this initiative. Pray that young people would read the Bible, and ask questions, and that God would reveal himself.

“Secondly, would you be able to sponsor a Bible? The Bible we are hoping to get is the Youth Bible designed by Youth for Christ, in partnership with young people and the Bible society. The cost of each Bible is £16.99, and we will need at least 40, meaning the total cost is £679.60.”

The appeal was prompted by reports of the Quiet Revival.

“At our National Youth for Christ Conference we heard stories of young people walking into Christian bookshops and asking for Bibles, reading them, and then turning up at church saying they had become Christian, or that they had had a vision in a dream.

“Even in Norfolk this is happening, where we see young people turning up at Churches because it's where they feel God is.”

If you would like to sponsor a Bible you can donate through the North Breckland YFC Stewardship account or by bank transfer.

“Thank you so much for your support and prayers,” said Matt.
