Youthscape Essentials training for West Norfolk
The Diocese of Norwich will deliver the Youthscape Essentials course in King’s Lynn and two other locations across the region for those working with young people.
Youthscape Essentials is a formational youth ministry course open to anyone from any denomination, for anyone involved in, or exploring, ministry with young people in churches, schools, or communities.
Rooted in Christian discipleship, it focuses on forming leaders and volunteers together through shared learning and reflection.
The course will be delivered in a hybrid style, mixing local in person sessions with online sessions for the whole group. St. Faith's Community Hub will host the King's Lynn hub.
The ten-session course will run, roughly monthly, from May 2026 to March 2027. All sessions, whether in person or online, will run from 7pm-9pm.
The three hubs for local training will be:
YSE West - St. Faith's Community Hub, Kings Lynn, PE30 4DZ
YSE East - St. Laurence Centre, Brundall, NR13 5LZ
YSE Central - Fountain of Life Church, Ashill, IP25 7BT
Youthscape Essentials was first developed in 2019, in response to research which confirmed that the church is becoming more and more reliant on volunteers. Since then, it has developed and grown and is now delivered across multiple church traditions and denominations.
