Easter multimedia performance in Norwich church

Norwich Citadel will host an award-winning artist for a special Easter performance next month involving photography, music, and storytelling.

The Last Supper, a performance by Christian Stejskal, will take place on Tuesday March 31 at the Norwich Citadel from 7.30pm. 

The multimedia show involves Christian narrating from the Gospel of Mark (chapters 13-17), while interspersing the stories with his original violin pieces and photographs from the middle east.
 
Christian has walked in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and photographed the cultural landscape in Israel and Egypt in search of biblical visual symbols and metaphors, illustrating the ‘Upper Room’ – the Passover meal Jesus celebrated with his 12 disciples before going to the cross.
 
Over the past ten years, he has performed his multimedia shows in nine different countries in Europe, including a critically acclaimed appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as in Africa and Asia.
