North Breckland YFC Director, Matt Ingle said: “We were very blessed by God via our supporters to have enough money to buy the 40 Bibles and put a bookmark in them. We put the bookmark at the beginning of Mark and gave them out after I had asked the young people the question, ‘But what about you, who do you say I am?’ and told them that they could find out about Jesus by reading the book of Mark.”
The Bibles were gifted to young people at various clubs to a positive response.
“Of the 20 youngsters that we saw that week, only 2 did not take a Bible away. One young person, I found out, took it into school the day after I gave it to them and was reading it at lunchtime, and told someone else that I know that they had been given it by Matthew at their youth club. Another young person sat down immediately and started looking through it, and said it was a really great present to get. God is good,” said Matt.
