Bereavement course to be held at Norwich church

Anyone who has been bereaved and is working through coming to terms with their loss is welcome to a seven week course at Witard Road Baptist Church.
 

The Bereavement Journey® is a 7-session series of films and discussion that gently guide people bereaved at any time through the most common aspects of grief and bereavement, enabling them to process the implications for themselves and discern next steps. Anyone 18 years+ for whom someone important has died at any time is welcome. The Bereavement Journey offers holistic support, including signposting and its optional Session 7, which explores spiritual questions from a Christian perspective.

The purpose of the series is not to counsel or advise, it is simply to help people work their way in what is sometimes a complicated journey of grief. Talking about bereavement is one of the hardest, but also most helpful steps in working through the journey of losing a loved one, and many people commented about how it is reassuring to know that others are going through something similar. Whilst everybody’s journey is unique it needn’t be lonely - there are so many aspects which you will find someone else has encountered or is currently going through.  

Witard Road Baptist Church is running the course starting on Thursday, 4 June from 10am - noon and encourages anyone who is journeying through grief, and coming to terms with loss, or even struggling with a past bereavement, to consider signing up.
