King's Lynn churches organise week of prayer

reachingoutChurches Together in King’s Lynn has organised daily prayer services to celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity from January 18 to 25.

Peter Coates, Secretary of Churches Together in King's Lynn, said: “I hope as many people as possible are able to attend to experience worship by different denominations to draw us together in the one God.”

Friday January 18:
The London Road Methodist Church, King’s Lynn PE30 5PU. 12.30-1:00pm.

Saturday January 19:
St Felix Chapel, Babingley, PE31 6AW. 3:00-4:00pm.

Sunday January 20:
King’s Lynn Baptist Church, Wisbech Rd, South Lynn, PE30 5JS; 3:00-4:00pm.  Please park cars in the car park of St Michael's Primary School, Saddlebow Rd, King's Lynn, PE30 5BW. 

Monday January 21:
Church of the Annunciation, London Rd., King’s Lynn, PE30 5HQ; Revd. Peter Rollings; 1230-1:00pm, (after Mass at 12 mid-day).  Prayer for Christian Unity will be followed by soup and a roll.

Tuesday January 22:
The Sacred Space, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gayton Rd, King’s Lynn, PE30 4ET. Revd. Mark Jones; 8:30-9:00am.

Wednesday January 23:

Church of St John the Evangelist, Blackfriars Rd., King’s Lynn, PE30 1NT. Revd. Corin Child; 12.30-1:00pm.

Thursday January 24:

St Margaret’s Church, (King’s Lynn Minster), Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn, PE30 5EB; Revd. Canon Christopher Ivory: 1230-1:00pm.

Friday January 25:

Quakers Religious Society of Friends, Friends Meeting House, 38 Bridge St, King’s Lynn, PE30 5AB. 12.30-1:00pm followed by a simple meal of bread, soup and cheese.
