Living Word conference at Lowestoft Church
The Lowestoft Living Word will be taking place this year at Christ Church in the town, and bookings are now being taken. Tony Rothe reports.
The conference, entitled “Every Blessing” will run from 7.30pm till 9pm each evening from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 September, with daytime meetings at 12.30pm on the Wednesday and Thursday. There will also be a bookstall available in the evenings, and light lunches will be available.
The speaker will be Adrian Reynolds. Adrian is an Elder at Christchurch Market Harborough, and has served as one of the directors of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) since April 2017. He was previously one of the leaders of The Proclamation Trust and as Associate Minister of East London Tabernacle after pastoring Yateley Baptist Church. Adrian has worked as a Chartered Accountant and in the pharmaceutical industry, and is married with three daughters. Adrian is a keen musician and cyclist and enjoys both reading and writing. He is the author of several books.
Adrian’s talk will be based on Ephesians. He says “The secret to Christian contentment is not for God to give us more, but for us to grasp more deeply what he has already given us in Christ. We're going to be looking together at Ephesians 1 to see how we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ: chosen; adopted; redeemed; forgiven; enlightened; included and sealed.”
The venue is Christ Church, Whapload Road, Lowestoft, NR32 1XD. There is parking in the streets nearby, and a public car park near the Battery Green roundabout.
