Hear God’s voice for Advent in Heacham

All are welcome to “Come near, come hear!” - An Advent Quiet Day at St Mary’s Church, Heacham, on Wednesday December 4.

The day will follow the Angel Festival which took place at the church last weekend, and will focus on hearing God’s voice within the hubbub of this often-busy season.
The quiet day, hosted by Rev Veronica Wilson, will be led by Jane Clamp, author and speaker (and regular contributor to Network Norfolk), pictured above. She will present brief reflections at the beginning of each hour, leaving plenty of space for those attending to seek God in the stillness for themselves through different activities. She will also be playing improvised saxophone at various times.
Alongside Jane, local poet Ren Fargher-Smith will be performing specially written pieces throughout the day.
The day will run from 10am to 3pm, with people free to come and go as they wish. Tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.

St Mary's Church is at 26 Church Lane, Heacham, King's Lynn, PE31 7HJ.
