Church responds to community during virus outbreak

A Norwich church is responding to vulnerable people in Thorpe St Andrew and is committed to supporting the community.

Rector of Thorpe St Andrew Church Rev James Stewart said, "The Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis seems to deepen every day and we can no longer say that we have no cases in Norfolk. Thorpe St Andrew is a big community and we know that there are many who are vulnerable in our community who need our help with the delivery of shopping/medication or just being a sympathetic ear on the telephone. We can't do it alone but we want to reach out in love and are happy to coordinate a response or help with others - so please message us on Facebook or email us on rector@thorpeparishchurch.org or telephone The Revd James Stewart on 01603 439160 and we will begin to put together a way of helping our most vulnerable at this time."

It's important in a safe way to look out for one another. Our prayers are for our whole community and for a hope-filled future.
