Hunstanton Foodbank remains open during crisis

The Hunstanton and District Foodbank is keeping its doors open during the Coronavirus crisis, but will deliver food parcels where possible.

Churches along the coast of North-West Norfolk partnered to provide a Foodbank to residents when the need for the service became increasingly apparent along the coast between Dersingham, Hunstanton, the Saxonshore and Docking.

Chair of trustees James Munro said “The foodbank continues to operate as normal regardless of the Coronavirus outbreak. Our Hunstanton base remains open as usual on Mondays and Thursdays to redeem vouchers and accept donations, but we are delivering some parcels if the referral agency or the clients phone in first as it reduces face to face contact.”
