Your chance to support work of Connect Norwich

Churches and Christian organisations across Greater Norwich have been asked to join Connect Norwich in "strengthening the threads that hold our city together" and in building meaningful relationships within the local Christian community.

Here is the letter just sent to potential supporters:

Join us in strengthening the threads that hold our city together

Dear colleague,

As Christian leaders across Norwich, we share a calling that is both joyful and demanding. We long to see our city shaped by the hope of the gospel, yet we know that none of us can carry this vision alone.

Connect Norwich exists because we believe that ministry is like weaving cloth. Each church, charity, and ministry brings its own colour and texture, but it is only when the threads are drawn together that something strong, beautiful, and enduring emerges. Our gatherings, friendships, and shared learning help bind those threads - quietly strengthening the fabric of Christian witness across our city.

We don’t pretend to have every answer, but we do believe deeply in the power of unity. When we meet, listen, pray, and collaborate, we create space for encouragement, fresh ideas, and new possibilities in mission. Our hope is simple: that by walking together in humility and faith, Norwich will glimpse more of God’s kingdom.

Thank you for being part of this shared journey. Your presence at our bi‑monthly lunches, your prayers, and your partnership all help sustain the connections that make our collective ministry stronger.

Each year we invite churches, organisations, and individuals who value this network to support it financially. Our annual costs are around £1,560, covering lunches, administration, our website and e‑news, and a contribution to the Network Norfolk website, if possible. These are modest costs for the impact they enable, but they are real - and we depend on the generosity of those who share our vision.

We would be grateful if you would prayerfully consider making a donation this year. We suggest £150 from churches and organisations (or £50 from individuals), though we warmly welcome gifts of any size - whether smaller or larger. Every contribution strengthens the tapestry we are weaving together.

Thank you for all you do for the gospel in Norwich. It is a privilege to walk alongside you.

Every blessing,
Connect Norwich Steering Group
