Musical Christmas production in Norfolk churches
Norfolk-based Springs Dance Company is once again touring its Christmas production across the country, and there is still time to book them to perform at your church.
Springs Dance Company’s Christmas production,
Journey of the Magi will be touring the country from
November 21 to
December 22, including a performance at
St Mary Magdelene Church Gorleston on
Friday December 5.
Journey of the Magi is a professional production of dance, theatre, song and poetry. It is a family show: accessible for all, fun and thought-provoking, full of warmth, hilarity and delight.
The show offers a contemporary comparison between the journey the wise men took 2000 years ago and our own preparations in the run up to Christmas today.
The performance lasts around 90 minutes plus a 20 minute interval. All that is needed to host the show is a clear, flat surface approximately 7m x 7m. Springs Dance Company provide the dance floor, lighting, and sound equipment.
