God's blessing sung over Norwich streets
Dozens of Christians took to the streets in Norwich on Saturday May 9 to worship God and sing songs of blessing over the city.
The event which happened at midday was part of a national initiative called 'Worship On The Streets'. The vision to see God’s love and power released on the streets of the UK through worship.
It is about making worship more accessible to people who don’t know Jesus so that they can know His love, hope, peace, and healing through the music.
Up and down the country hundreds of these pop-up worship events took place declaring God's sovereignty and blessing over people in the UK's towns and cities.
In Norwich a large gathering took place outside Debenhams, and another near the marketplace. The city was filled with people on a busy Saturday, with many people in the city for the Norfolk and Norwich festival.
Worship leaders led songs, starting with The Blessing, and they supported by people ready to give out Christian literature, talk and pray with people.
