Celebrate Norfolk finalises exhibition line-up

The Celebrate Norwich and Norfolk Christian Services and Projects Exhibition will take place in the Forum and on Millennium Plain, Norwich, from 9am to 4pm on Saturday June 16, 2018. The confirmed line-up of exhibitors includes.

  • OMF International: is a Christian mission agency that serves the church and seeks to bring the gospel to all the peoples of East Asia. It helps to place Christians to share the love of Christ with East Asians worldwide.
  • Good News: Good News aims to share the good news about Jesus Christ throughout the towns and villages of Norfolk.
  • Community Action Norwich:  Meeting the needs of people through a programme of community care in the Lakenham and Tuckswood areas of Norwich.
  • The Norfolk Postal Bible School: Uses the resources produced by Bible Educational Services to run correspondence schools through the postal system, and to supply groups, Bible classes, schools and Sunday schools.
  • Christian Aid: Reaching out to help the poorest communities around the world and has a local office in Norwich. We exist to change hearts in the rich world and change lives in the poor world. We help churches to pray, act and give to reduce poverty in some of the most deprived areas of the world.
  • St John’s Cathedral: The Roman Catholic Cathedral of St John the Baptist is a beautiful building and a place of prayer, open to everyone and free to enter with Tower Tours and views from one of the highest spots in Norwich city centre. It also include the Narthex visitor centre with conference facilities, the Garden Café and the Cathedral Shop.
  • Mothers Union: Through campaigning, community projects &  prayer across the world our volunteer members promote stable marriage and family life to create lasting change for families and their communities.
  • Norfolk Healing Rooms: Exist to offer prayer for healing to anyone, free of charge and without an appointment, for physical, emotional or spiritual needs in accordance with scripture.
  • Rafiki Creative Ministry: We offer puppet shows, workshops and training days also creative workshop days and flag workshops, which can be tailor-made. At Celebrate we are presenting our Spin Crazy interactive paint spinning on a variety of card and fabrics.
  • Heartbeat Ministries: is a Norfolk-based servant ministry that seeks to strengthen people to become healthy and active members within the Body of Christ. It has monthly meetings plus occasional conferences and events bringing in anointed men and women to minister to the wider region of East Anglia.
  • Norwich Healing Rooms: Anyone can come for prayer, no matter what the need, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual concerns. Our team is dedicated to seeing the same healings which took place in the Bible, take place today.
  • Christian Vision for Men: We simply seek to introduce men to Jesus. This is achieved by equipping the local church with tools, resources, training and support. Check out the website for more info, particularly the various local and national events throughout the year. 
  • Mission: John Myhill will be celebrating missions abroad from different Norwich churches, under the heading of Ecumenism.
  • Norwich Quaker Meeting – Rooted in Christianity, Quakers believe there is ‘that of God’ in everyone. The experience of Quaker silent worship provides a contemporary, exploratory and radical spiritual path for those seeking meaning and purpose to life. Visit our stand and discover famous Quaker companies from the past and the role Quakers played in shaping our nation.
  • The Mix Norfolk: Organises fun, friendly and informal social events in Norfolk aimed at the 25 + age range. It is an inter-church, inter-denominational initiative which sees friendships as a major part of God’s kingdom and mission. Search “Mix Norfolk” on Facebook.
  • Friends International Norwich: Sharing the love of Christ with international students studying in Norwich; supporting them through friendship, hospitality and cultural events.
  • Hebron Trust: Hebron House is a safe, nurturing and intensively supportive community environment in which to rehabilitate from drug and alcohol dependency and the life-dominating problems that serious substance misuse can cause
  • Samaritan’s Purse UK: Is an international relief and development organisation that works through local churches to proclaim and demonstrate the love of God amongst communities in need (in countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia) across the world. 
  • Horstead Centre: The Horstead Centre near Norwich provides young people with opportunities for educational, personal, social and spiritual development through an exciting programme of residential stays, activity days and mini conferencing.
  • Third Order of Franciscans: The Third Order of the Society of St Francis is an Anglican/Episcopal religious order for people of all kinds—single and in committed relationships, lay and ordained—who live by Franciscan principles "in the world."
  • The London School of Theology (LST): Exists to serve the church of Jesus Christ by educating individuals, equipping local churches, and engaging in leading research. 7,000 graduates have now been trained to serve God globally, having an impact worldwide.
  • YMCA Norfolk: Is a local charity that has been supporting people in Norfolk since 1856. We focus on young people, helping them to play an active role within their community. We work with disadvantaged young people and families who are at a point of crisis in their lives, including those who have been affected by homelessness and support them towards a brighter future.
The Celebrate Norwich & Norfolk 2018 event will take place at The Forum in Norwich and on Millennium Plain on Saturday, June 16. There is no entry fee and all are welcome.
