Pastor of Norwich Proclaimers launches new book

Pastor Tom Rawls launched his new book, 'Plain View', on Sunday at Proclaimers church in Norwich setting out how to communicate about Jesus effectively in the 21st century.

On Sunday, October 16 Pastor Tom Rawls from Proclaimers Church in Norwich launched his new book ‘Plain View’ at his church where he signed copies after the service.
Plain View by Tom RawlsTom Rawls has lived in Norwich, leading Proclaimers Church since 2003.  The church, which meets in The Space on Roundtree Way has seen phenomenal growth under his leadership and has campuses in Norwich, Ipswich and Bratislava. The church became part of the Hillsong family in 2014.

'Plain View' is Tom Rawls’ second published book following ‘Relentless: A Renaissance Theology for the 21st Century Church’ in 2010.

About 'Plain View' Pastor Tom Rawls said: "This book really is my life message - how we can effectively communicate Jesus Christ to a 21st century world. As Christians we have a responsibility to re-present Jesus, but we need to do so in the midst of the complexities of the 21stCentury.
“How do we do that? I am hoping that my book will help people to develop a theology strong enough, and robust enough, that it can be dragged through the blood, sweat and tears of modern living and remain firm."
“My hope is that this book will give people the tools to engage with the world that surrounds us. I believe that “Plain View” will be an essential resource for Christian communicators, leaders and for every person. It will be an invaluable guide for anyone with a desire to tell people about Jesus using the 21st Century as a backdrop.”
Gary Clarke the Lead Pastor of Hillsong Church London said: “Tom is articulate and challenging in his approach. He brings a fresh voice and a new perspective as he unwraps well-worn passages of scripture. His passion for the church is infectious.”
The book is available to buy in book shops retailing at £12 or for less on Kindle.
