Christians ready for transformation in Norwich

Excitement over the change in Norwich as Christians come together with different sectors of society is building as the next ‘transforming the atmosphere’ gathering approaches on October 16.

A group of Norwich Christians meets regularly, having been inspired by Dr Alistair Petrie over the last three years, to prepare for lasting revival and genuine transformation. Alistair is Executive Director of Partnership Ministries and has been working with Norwich Christians and churches in the region.
Alistair’s third visit to Norwich ended with a commissioning of seven people and a challenge to everyone who attended the final evening session to be ready for the new things that God is already beginning to do.
Alistair’s recent teaching was reaffirmed and clarified at a further week of study at Blairmore House, Scotland last month, attended by Norwich Methodist minister Rev Nigel Fox.
Nigel said, “It was certainly an intense week. But that time at Blairmore enabled me to see the bigger picture more clearly, and to do so alongside two humble practitioners who really have experienced city-transforming revival. I was privileged to attend and learn more.... meeting those caught up in revival was a priceless opportunity.”
Insights from that week will be shared at the next ‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ evening as the group looks forward to the next steps for Norwich
The meeting will be on Monday 16 October at House of Prayer, Fishergate at 7.30pm
A group from Norwich, supported by ‘Dreams and Visions’, has also attended the recent “Movement Day 2017” conference in London. With representation from across the world, the group heard first-hand the stories of God working in many diverse places.
Nigel said, “It’s so clear that what we are being drawn into is something new of God that is already bearing fruit in other places around the world, and also across the UK. This is such an exciting time. It is a time for us to bless, to work alongside other agencies for the common good, and especially to re-focus our devotion in a fresh wind of praise to our approaching King!”
