Healthy living day at Norwich cathedral
A Healthy Living Day for adults and children of all ages to explore keeping bodies, minds and spirits healthy is being run at Norwich Anglican Cathedral on Saturday February 24.
You can meet the Well Being miniature donkeys and Pets for Therapy animals, discover the importance of bees and the health benefits of their honey, make some bread, plant some seeds, paint, colour and stick in an art workshop, find out why laughter is good for you and watch a comedy in the company of others.
There will be a guided walk around the riverbank where you can discover the health benefits of the Broads Waterways. Then join a ‘Big Sing’ with the Master of Music or test your fitness on a Rowing Machine or Exercise Bike.
In a Quiet Zone have your hands massaged, explore a labyrinth of light, learn about anointing, watch your worries go up in smoke or simply enjoy the silence in one of our beautiful chapels.
The day of activity, from 10.30-2.30pm, will be followed by a service celebrating health and healing at 3.30pm.
