Call to Prayer vision evening
Norwich Christian group Call to Prayer are holding a vision evening on October 19, which includes the launch of a new initiative to enable others to share their gifts of prayer and enthusiasm.
The Trustees and the members of the Call to Prayer Team warmly invite you to join them at a Vision Evening and the launch of ‘Friends of Call to Prayer’, at 7.00pm on Friday 19th October, at the House of Prayer, Fishergate, NR3 1SE.
It is now 10 years since Call to Prayer was formally commissioned and nearly eight years since taking on the lease of St Edmund’s church as a House of Prayer. A lot has happened during that time.
Revd Nigel Fox said, "Looking back, it is easy to be filled with amazement and thankfulness at the various ways in which God has guided and enabled. But it is also thrilling to see what He is doing among us now, and to trust for what is to come."
We are about to launch ‘Friends of Call to Prayer’, a new group that will give more folk a genuine opportunity to share more fully in the ongoing life of the House of Prayer, offering clearer measures of partnership. We are also offer one or two detailed ideas about how we believe the ministries of Call to Prayer may develop over the next few years.
We live in extraordinary times, and would love the opportunity to involve more prayerful folk and God-seekers into these developing ministries, based in the heart of Norwich. We will therefore continue to encourage one another to tune-in afresh and seek God in deepening prayerfulness, aware that much the same is happening in other Houses of Prayer across the UK."
