Seafaring musical shows at two Norfolk churches

Musicians from Kings Chamber Orchestra will perform interactive concerts and give testimonies of their Christian faith on June 22 in Swaffham and Norwich.

Kings Chamber Orchestra are an extraordinary group of classical musicians, individually, members of performing orchestras around the world, and united by their Christian faith. KCO come together to perform interactive concerts sharing their testimonies alongside their incredible musicianship.

They will perform "The Lighthouse and the Sea" on Saturday 22 June with two special shows:

Teddy Concert

A musical celebration for all the family of all things connected to the sea. KCO with its inimitable family fun; flying fish, a dolphin, a lighthouse and innumerable sailors bring out the deck-swabbing adventurer in us all – with a little help from Vivaldi, John Williams and Mr Bean.

Evening Concert

St Stephen’s Church, Rampant Horse Street, Norwich NR2 1QP
A seafaring programme with works by Vivaldi, Debussy, Gliere and others. KCO, ever the masters of surprise, manage to combine classic elements with wry humour and touching observationas about all things maritime. Expect to dream a seaside dream, featuruing Captain Cook and accompanied by outstanding music, and you won’t be far wrong.
