Norfolk School of Supernatural Life is set to start again
Inspired by the school at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and similar expressions in this country and a sense of calling from God, the School of Supernatural Life is set to run once again from September 28 at Hope Community Church in Wymondham.
Grantley and Floss Watkins, who have led the course since 2015, say: “We have been in ministry for over 40 years and yet have found nothing like the school for making true disciples who live the life as Jesus did where signs wonders and miracles become part of a followers normal life and people live as if they are 10 times braver.
“The School is founded on the belief that Jesus demonstrated the normal Christian life and that as we follow him we should experience God’s Kingdom break out wherever we go. We believe every Christian is called to see the sick healed, the spiritually oppressed set free, the lost saved and the broken-hearted whole.
“Our aim is to equip followers of Jesus Christ to enrich the kingdom expression of their local church and radically change society through a naturally supernatural lifestyle of signs and wonders.
“We seek to achieve this by creating a courageous community where the excellent bible teaching is fully actualised in your life at work or education, in your family, in your community and church.”
Grantley and Floss say: “Although the school is held at Hope Community Church Wymondham we have people from every denomination attend and it’s our privilege to hear their life changing stories as a result of the year and to see first-hand the transformation that takes place.”

How past students have benefited
"Transformative! Absolutely amazing! God has been releasing me from bondage, step by step and through The School, every week has been breaking another strand. In year 1 I had been in desperate state and crying out to God in desperation. Year 1 gave me confidence I was a child of God. Year 2 has been breaking down the strongholds and smashing the lies and teaching me to walk tall with God again. Learning how to fight spiritual battles and know that God can use me and that I can trust him to speak in all circumstances."
"I think the biggest impact SOSL has had on my life is increased confidence in who I am in Christ, increased confidence in the power and authority that I carry within me and increased compassion for those who don't yet know how good, great and loving is our awesome God. When you see sad, unconfident people at the beginning of the year change into joyful and confident sons and daughters of God, you know something rather special is happening. Best teaching ever by two brilliant teachers who enable others to follow in their footsteps."
The School Format
The school follows a normal academic pattern starting in September 2019 and ending with graduation in July 2020.
The year starts with a Saturday together but will be followed by Tuesday evening sessions to make the school as accessible as possible. We will also have a termly experience of serving a local church in their mission.
Application and Costings
Please complete the application form here.
Similar schools in this country have fees in excess of £300 but we want this expression to be accessible to all and so we keep our fees as low as possible at £190 for the year and you are able to spread such costs over the first half of the course.
We will also require an endorsement of your application from a leader of your church.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?
The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.
To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.
We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.
Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
