Couple’s faith move for 24/7 prayer dream

Fred and Denise2010: A Norfolk couple have moved to Bangor in Northern Ireland to set up a 24/7 House of Prayer in a real step of faith.

Downham Market Christian Fellowship’s Frederick and Denise Hayward’s adventure began in 2007, when they spent four months at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, USA, a place where there is continuous prayer and worship, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Frederick and Denise felt that God was calling them to be part of the House of Prayer movement, and gradually became convinced that they should set up a House of Prayer in Bangor.

Bangor, in fact, once had a centre for continuous prayer and worship.  It was established way back in 558 and lasted for over 100 years.  Frederick and Denise believe that God wants something similar there again, and, on several trips to the town, have met others who share this view.

If you would like to know more, Frederick and Denise would be delighted to receive an email from you, at fredhay@waitrose.com.
