Christian rock band lead workshop in Dereham

Taste 366On Saturday 18th February, North Breckland Youth for Christ and the Christian rock band, Taste, are inviting singers and musicians aged 11-18 to join them in Dereham to learn some new skills.
The interactive music and vocal workshops will be led by the musicians from Taste (pictured), a band from Essex who travel the country using their music to share their passion for Jesus.
The session will take place from 10am – 4pm at the Salvation Army in Dereham, St. Nicholas Street.  The cost is £5 and includes free entry to an evening celebration at the same venue from 7pm – 9 pm. Tickets to the celebration are available for £2 for those not attending the training day.
Dan Lawrence from North Breckland Youth For Christ, said: “We're really excited about the day and hope that many young people will be able to make it!”
“The workshops will be a chance for young people to gain new skills in their musical instruments or with their singing and they will also have a chance to learn more about worship leading and what it is to worship.”

Musicians are invited to bring their own instruments, as long as they are not too big!  Youth leaders are also invited to attend both events with their young people.

To book a place please complete a booking form, which can be downloaded here, and return it with a cheque payable to "North Breckland Youth For Christ".
