Norfolk Christians invited to Messianic event

RabbiBinyamin430The leader of a Norwich Messianic Jewish congregation is playing a prominent role in a national conference in August and is inviting local Christians to attend.

Rabbi Binyamin Sheldrake (pictured right), from the Adat Yeshua Messianic Synagogue, which meets at Thorpe St Andrew village hall near Norwich, will be one of the main speakers at the annual conference of the Union of British Messianic Synagogues from August 23 to 25 at King’s Park Conference Centre near Northampton.
Some 20 members of his congregation will also be attending and he has issued an invitation to Christians across Norfolk to join them.
“I shall be speaking on issues of Jewish people returning to the Land as part of the prophetic promise and connecting that to the rapture, amongst other topics,” said Binyamin who is also Chairman of the UBMS Executive.
“The theme of the conference is 'Going up: Aliyah', so broader subjects like the ingathering of the nations to Israel, Zionism and Messiah etc will be talked about too. We have a speaker from Israel on living as a Messianic Jew in the Land and Ted Pearce from the States holding a worship and praise concert on the Saturday evening.
“The conference would be of interest to any believer who has an interest in end times, restoration of Israel, Jewish foundations of the Scriptures etc,” said Binyamin.
The conference features speakers from Israel as well as the UK, Ukraine and Romania and provides a full children’s and youth programme.
